The Sunday Post – April 15, 2018
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Another busy week. Soccer, science fair, and a home improvement project. Soccer has started, and my daughter loves it! My oldest son participated in the science fair. He worked very hard and did a great job presenting to the judges. My husband is putting in hardwood flooring in my office and in our library (we repurposed our dining room . . . a library is much better!). The floors are looking beautiful! My office should be done–floors, painting, furniture–by midweek. For two years, my husband and I shared an office in our home. We worked well together, but he decided to move his office to the basement, and now the room is mine! I didn’t have my own room in our house. He has a workshop, shed, garage . . . I can’t wait. I’m painting it green. On a sad note, our oldest cat passed away this week. We are sad, but she had a long, good life. She was a sweet cat, and we will miss her. Our other cat seems to be sad and missing her as well. Other than that, I’ve been working a lot this week and not reading as much. How was your week?

Congrats on getting your own office space! And I love the idea of turning a dining room into a library.
I actually use my dining area to house some of my books…I do wish for one room for all the books, but that is probably not happening in this condo.
So sorry about your cat.
I’m off to check out your post on a movie you liked better than the book. I’ve had a few of those.
Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

So sorry to hear about your cat, Chrissy! I think our animals are full-fledged members of our family, and even if they have long, good lives, it’s hard to say goodbye.
YAY for your very own office and a library. I hope you’ll share some pictures when it’s read.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

So sorry for your loss. Long life or not it is always hard to say goodbye. Sounds like you have all been busy. Glad you will have your own space.

Congrats on your own office and on new flooring! Sorry to hear about your cat though. So sad. And sending positive thoughts to your remaining kitty as well. I know when we lost a cat a while back her sister was despondent.
Hope your week ahead is a good one.

Way to go on your own office. I hope you share pictures when its finished. And so sorry about your cat. Mine passed away at the ripe age of 24. I still think I see her tail slinking around the corner:)
