Welcome to Every Free Chance! I created Every Free Chance Books in 2011 to share my love of books and what I was reading. What started as a book review blog has now become books and so much more.
EFC still shares all things books. We post features, reviews, author interviews and guest posts, and bookish things like subscription boxes and bookish merchandise. EFC also posts reviews of products we are using, movies and TV shows we’re watching, and food we are cooking.

I love to read, and I read every free chance I get. I usually have multiple books and audiobooks in various genres going at the same time. I’m happy to say that I have passed my love of reading on to my children. There isn’t a day that goes by that they don’t have their noses in a book.

Hi! My name is Jaclyn, and I love to read! My mom tells me I started reading at three years old–and I haven’t put down a book since! I work in Finance full time and I have three rambunctious little ones—so my time is a precious commodity. Don’t be surprised if you see me cooking dinner with a book in hand or reading on my Kindle while exercising over lunch. Multitasking at its best! When I pick up a book, I want it to pull me into another world. I love historical fiction, thrillers, sci-fi, but I have to balance it out with some YA, chick lit, and even self-help books every now and again! I absolutely cannot see a movie based on a book without reading the book first. Immediately after the movie (and frequently DURING the movie), I will complain about all the things they did wrong. Except Game of Thrones, they are doing everything right! (Finish the next book, GRRM!) Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a date with 18th century Scotland . . . !

I’m a single supermom to a boy and two girls. I love to read so much that when I was a teenager, I’d stay up all night long reading romance books I’d stolen from my grandmother. And not your new, everyday romance . . . I’m talking the bodice-ripping Harlequins that my grandmother’s friends would give her by the paper bag full! I’m still a closet fan of those books, but now I prefer to read books with a little more oomph. I’m a big fan of romance, vampires of all kinds (even sparkly ones), murder, mayhem, and most everything except (real) science fiction and war books.
All that reading has given me an overabundance of imagination, which comes in handy when dealing with my active, angsty, creative, and lovable children and also for writing my own stories. I have three published novels with plans to release a trilogy in the near future. When I’m not taking care of house and home, working and carting my kids off to their various kidtivities, writing or reading, I can be found watching football and UFC, practicing my British accent, and dreaming of living on an island where it’s eighty degrees year-round.
