The Sunday Post – December 17, 2017
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What a week! Besides the kids’ school and activities, blogging and editing kept me busy. We finally finished decorating. YAY!! The kids are thrilled, and the house looks great. Heather, Jaclyn, and I went out to dinner for our EFC Christmas dinner. We had a fabulous time. We’re hoping to get together more often next year. That evening we had a lot of snow. School was canceled the next day. The kids loved their first snow day of the year! Anyway, I’m hoping to finish Christmas shopping today . . . or at least in the next few days. Can you believe Christmas is next week???

Our house is finally decorated and ready for Christmas, too. And I didn’t even have to do much – my husband and the kids felt the Christmas spirit last week 🙂
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

While I now Christmas is next week because we leave school on Wednesday for the break, I cannot wrap my head around it yet. I am stuck with what else (and how, now, with such short time) to get The Man to finish out his gifts. I hope you enjoy the snow!!

I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around it as well. It’s crazy! Good luck getting The Man to finish his gifts!!

We had snow here, too, but only a few inches. It’s so good when all the decorating is done and you can enjoy it. Have a great week!

Glad your kids enjoyed their first snow day of the year! We haven’t got much in Minnesota yet, but I’m sure the worst of it is right around the corner 🙂 Good luck wrapping-up that Christmas shopping!

I love decorating for the holidays, the festive atmosphere is just something I adore. I think I got maybe one snow-day during my entire childhood. This is rather depressing. 😀 I love snow, but having it for a long time might take the novelty out of it, and I bet it can get rather annoying after weeks and month of snow.
Have a great week and happy reading.
