Did I enjoy this book? For the most part, yes, I did enjoy it. The concept behind the 5-second rule is a great one: count down from 5 and do whatever it is that you want/need/must do. That’s it. Don’t wait, don’t overthink, just do. What I didn’t like about the book was all the testimonials and social media screenshots. A few success stories can help bring home the concept, but there were so many in this book that I skipped over most of them. They actually pulled me out of the learning experience and had me losing focus.
Would I recommend it? I would recommend going to her website and YouTube channel to watch her videos. Her TED Talk was fantastic. I think those are more helpful and motivating than reading the book.
