The Sunday Post – December 3, 2017
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
It’s December! Can you believe it? I’m looking forward to Christmas! I just have to start shopping and decorating. Have you started decorating? Are you finished? I’m hoping to get it done this week. I did start reading some holiday books, which are always fun to read each year! I’ve finished The Naughty List by Michael Fry and Bradley Jackson (a book for my son that I wanted to check out first), and I’m almost done (hopefully will be done by the time this post goes live) with A Boy Called Christmas by Matt Haig.

I’m almost done buying gits and doing the decorating now. I had to take down some stuff outside. I forgot a guy is coming by to pressure wash the house. LOL And I just started my holiday reading list. I have such good intentions and then get behind on them!

I still need to get the tree up, but the rest of the house is decorated and outside is done. I meant to do it today, but have some sort of stomach bug. Ugh.

I’m sorry you’ve been sick. I hope you feel better soon.

That’s fantastic! I have a few gifts purchased, but not many. Hopefully I’ll get that done soon.

We’re finished decorating. I went on a spur of the moment shopping trip this morning and bought everything for the dogs and most everything for The Man. The last thing is going to be an electrician/plumber service gift. And I’m not even shameful in the fact that it’s because I’m tired of not having the bedroom fans work or the kitchen sinks clogging anytime you run water. Considering I have to buy tires in January/February, I’m trying to have a lean spending month.

Spur of the moment shopping trips are always fun, and it sounds like yours was productive. Sometimes house gifts (plumbing, fans, etc) are the best gifts!
