Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Did I enjoy this book: This book took me by surprise. The premise is somewhat different from other books I have read. I thought it was going to be predictable, but it wasn’t. I read it every free chance I had, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Samirah and Michael are characters you can truly feel for. You will care about them. You will want them to find their happily ever afters. You will want them to have something work out for them. You will laugh, gasp, sigh, be upset, be happy . . . you name it. You may even shed a few tears. And just when I thought I had it figured out, the story had me guessing. Live For This was an engrossing read.
Would I recommend it: Yes, it is a good women’s fiction book.
About the book – from Goodreads: Samirah Lundgren is living the party girl life. While she’s trying to forget about her past and put off having a meaningful future, her lifestyle catches up with her, leaving her in a wake of personal destruction. Alone and homeless, she encounters Michael Salinger, a man carrying his own baggage in the form of a spinal cord injury, not to mention his former fiancé is marrying his former best friend.
Can a man with a broken body and a woman with a broken soul help each other find the redemption they need to become whole again?
