Did I enjoy this book? Kindle Unlimited got me again! I thought this would be a fluffy, cute, summer read. While it was easy to read and cute, it was definitely not a light read. I absolutely loved all the characters in this story. I felt there was just a little character development missing, but I loved the rest of the story enough to overlook this minor flaw. Somehow I did not expect the plot to follow the path that it did. However, when it got to the end, it seemed inevitable and obvious. Great story, great characters, great setting–this was a great read.
Would I recommend it? I loved this book, and I would recommend it. It was a beautiful read.
About the book – from Goodreads: Parker Reeves has had a really bad year. Trouble at home, trouble at school… pretty much trouble in general.
On top of everything else wrong in his life, he’s sent away to the small town of Concord where he knows no one and is set to have a nonexistent social life.
Just when he thought his life couldn’t get any worse, he met her.
The girl next door is about to teach Parker that sometimes a summer can change your life.
