Did I enjoy this book? This book has ALL the twists. The beginning starts with a twist, then a few chapters later there is another twist, then you THINK that there’s a twist but there’s really not, then there’re more twists, then you aren’t sure what are twists anymore. Then your brain is in a complete twist. And I loved every minute of it. I was convinced that I knew who the bad guy was. Then I was convinced that the guy I thought was the bad guy could never actually be the bad guy. Then I thought people were crazy, then that other people were crazy. For a while I thought *I* might be crazy. I could not put this book down. This is definitely one of my favorite books of the year.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Truthfully, I already have! I will caution you because there are a few parts that are a bit gory/dark. However, if you are sensitive to that type of material, you probably aren’t reading psychological thrillers anyway. If you are going to pick this book up, make sure you understand the genre. This one is definitely a page turner!

About the book – from Goodreads: In this twisty psychological thriller from the New York Times bestselling author of The Girl Before, an actress plays both sides of a murder investigation.

One out-of-work British actress pays the rent on her New York City apartment the only way she can: as a decoy for a firm of divorce lawyers, hired to entrap straying husbands. When the cops begin investigating one of her targets for murdering his wife–and potentially others–they ask her to lure the suspect into a confession.

But with the actress pretending to be someone she isn’t, differentiating the decoy from the prey becomes impossible–and deadly.
