Did I enjoy this book: Fans of Colleen Hoover, and specifically the Hopeless series, will recognize these characters as old friends. This was a quick read, and I did enjoy this novella. I don’t want to say very much about this plot–as a novella, there isn’t much I could say without giving away the entire book! I liked reading from Daniel’s perspective; he is a character we didn’t meet during Hopeless, and I liked the alternative POV. I enjoyed the cursory nod to Holden and Sky without actually involving them in the plot. I also thought this very tactfully covered the time period while Six was in Italy, without actually dragging the reader to Italy. And I promise ALL of these comments make sense if you have read Hopeless before picking up this novella! Overall, yet another win for Colleen Hoover!!

Would I recommend it? I only recommend this novella if you have already read Hopeless. If you’ve read Hopeless, this is a cute side plot and worth the read. If you haven’t read Hopeless, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?!?! Go read Hopeless and then you can read Finding Cinderella!!

About the book – from Goodreads: A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will last only one hour, and it will be only make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them seemed perfect only because they were pretending it was. Moments like that happen only in fairy tales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in love-at-first-sight is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Unfortunately for Daniel, finding true love doesn”t guarantee a happily ever after… it only further threatens it.

Will an unbearable secret from the past jeopardize Daniel and Six’s only chance at saving each other?
