Did I enjoy this book? What a cute read! This book is written as if you are just having a chat with a close girlfriend. That being said, I truly believe that if I bumped into Chrissy Metz, we would be able to sit down and have a cup of coffee like besties. I enjoyed reading the backstory of Chrissy’s life and learning about her path. I think this is categorized as “self help,” but I don’t know that it does a good job of that. There are some cutsie catchphrases sprinkled throughout the book, but nothing life altering. I read it purely for entertainment value, and it delivered. You get the story of her life before Hollywood, her trip to Hollywood, the struggles she endured there, some name-dropping, and ultimately her success! Her positivity is magnetic, and I smiled through most of the book.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. What a cute read! I couldn’t put it down and genuinely looked forward to reading it.
