Did I enjoy this book? I liked this book! It was a super cute, chick lit kind of book. It was fluffy and innocent. It was a super quick read. Honestly, I don’t know much about competitive figure skating other than what we see on the Olympics every four years. It was fun to read about something so far out of my normal experience. I thought the characters acted really immaturely, given they ranged in age from 21-24. I guess if they lived a sheltered life due to intense competition, maybe this makes sense. Honestly, I just revised their ages down to 16-19 in my head and things made more sense. Overall, this was a sweet little book and I’m glad I read it.
Would I recommend it? This was an adorable book, and I would absolutely recommend it! I thought it was great because the romance scenes never took things too far, which really stuck with the tone of the book. There are two more books in this series, and I look forward to reading them!
About the book – from Goodreads: Falling hard never felt so good.
Pair skaters Courtney and Mark have one shot left at their Olympic dream. They vow not to let anything get in their way, especially not Josh and Stephanie, the wealthy and talented brother and sister team.
The heart doesn’t always listen to reason, though…
The more time Courtney spends with sweet, shy Josh, the harder she falls for him. But they are on opposite sides of the competition, and their futures are headed in opposite directions. Will their friendship blossom into more or are their paths too different to cross?
