My Favorite . . . YA Novel — January 18, 2017

My Favorite . . . is a weekly meme hosted by Maureen’s Books. In this meme we share every week something we love with each other. Because let’s face it, the world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive.
Each week I will post a new My Favorite . . . post about one subject and I’ll tell you all about it. And the best part? Everyone is welcome to join. The only thing you’ll have to do is sign up on the weekly post, link back to that post, and visit others.
This week’s Favorite is: YA Novel
Harry Potter, of course! I also love the Twilight series, Love and Other Foreign Words by Erin McCahan, and a few others. 😉
 Harry Potter!

I enjoyed the first few Harry Potter books, but I never really fell in love with them like so many people did.

I enjoyed the first few, but I truly fell in love with them at book 5. Now I loved them all because I saw what she did through the series.

Harry Potter was an early read for me, so I think it’d count as my favorite children’s books. I never read Love and Other Foreign Words — that sounds interesting!

I didn’t start HP until I was in my late 20s. Love and Other Foreign Words was a great read! I want to reread it again soon.

I love that we have the same favorite YA novel! I seriously love Harry Potter. I read before that series came out, but after I read Harry Potter I was completely hooked to reading.
I never heard of Love and Other Foreign Words. Sounds like a nice read!
Thanks for signing up again this week! 😉

I’ve heard that a lot of people really love them even more as the books progress.

They definitely mature and grow as the series progresses. The “aha” moments keep coming and pull all together at the end.

Yay for positivity. Nothing more positive than a favorite YA book, and Harry Potter is definitely my favorite, too!
