Did I enjoy this book: It’s cute! I like the way Thaler forces readers to listen to the words AND look at the pictures to figure out the whole story. The illustrations aren’t just eye candy–they actually add to the plot. The first few times we read it my son had trouble describing what was going on in the pictures (he’s three), but now he’s learned a new skill: listening and looking at the same time!  Sweet!

Would I recommend it: Yeah! Not only is it a cute story, but it’s sneakily helped my son learn a new skill.
