The Sunday Post – October 5, 2014
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
This week has been crazy! But I am ready for another week. I’m still in a bit of a reading slump, which is why there aren’t many reviews posted this week. But I’m slowly making my way out. I decided to pick up an old favorite. Harry Potter. Just diving back into that world makes me happy. I had a Skype call with an author to go over my manuscript critique of his current work-in-progress. It was a great conversation. I love the process of discussing various plot points and characters and trying to make them better, different. We are adding a new contributing reviewer this week. Be on the lookout for reviews from Gina! We’re hoping she loves blogging with us here at EFC and decides to become a more permanent reviewer. Melissa and I got together and worked on various behind the scenes items as well as EFC’s blogoversary post. Can you believe we will be celebrating our third blogoversary next week! We have some great giveaways for all of you. We always have productive meetings, and our kids have fun too. We also launched our second EFC Short Story Contest!!! ~ Chrissy 🙂

Looking forward to Gina’ review of Stil Alice. I read it several years ago and was completely stunned by the story. It was very well done!
