About the book: IN A RACE AGAINST TIME, HOW DO YOU KEEP THOSE YOU LOVE SAFE?
Jenny Kramer knows she isn’t normal. After all, not everybody can see the past lives of people around them. When she befriends Ben Daulton, resident new boy, the pair stumbles on an old music box with instructions for “mesmerization” and discover they may have more in common than they thought.
Like a past life.
Using the instructions in the music box, Ben and Jenny share a dream that transports them to Romanov Russia and leads them to believe they have been there together before. But they weren’t alone. Nikolai, the mysterious young man Jenny has been seeing in her own dreams was there, too. When Nikolai appears next door, Jenny is forced to acknowledge that he has traveled through time and space to find her. Doing so means he has defied the laws of time, and the Order, an ominous organization tasked with keeping people in the correct time, is determined to send him back. While Ben, Jenny and Nikolai race against the clock — and the Order — the trio discovers a link that joins them in life — and beyond death.

The main reason I want to read this is because I absolutely love the cover. The first thing that I look for is an interesting cover and then I look inside!!!

The cover is beautiful, Jeanne. I look at covers, too, especially when I am in a bookstore (or browsing the books at Target or something). The cover always draws me first, then I read the synopsis.

The main reason..I love paranormal books. I am always looking for that special twist that makes this book different from the last paranormal book I read. I haven’t found it yet. But I will keep searching!

I’m with you, Melissa. I’m looking for something different in the paranormal genre. It seems like I have read a lot of the same basic plots. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it does get a bit boring sometimes. Keep up the search! If you find something, let me know. I will be posting a review soon for Endless. I’ll let you know if it is that something different.
