Did I enjoy this book? I started reading this author based on a recommendation. I thought she wrote in the romance/young adult genre, and she does, just not exclusively. I borrowed this book from the library and had to wait MONTHS for it, so I assumed that meant it would be a great book, and it was!! It was gripping and unusual from the start, and I read it very quickly. However! This is neither romance nor young adult fiction! This is a suspense and/or psychological thriller. These are not my preferred genres because I am a big scaredy-cat, and this book did not disappoint! I legitimately had nightmares because of this book. I couldn’t put it down, even though I didn’t want to read any more of it. I still find myself thinking about the story and characters, and don’t even get me started on the ending!!!

Would I recommend it? I would recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre. It’s gripping and twisted and everything you could want in a thriller. If you are not a fan of the genre, pass over this one. It’s a great book, but probably not worth the nightmares!

About the book – from Goodreads:New York Times bestselling author Tarryn Fisher delivers a pulse-pounding, fast-paced suspense novel that will leave you breathless. A thriller you won’t be able to put down!

Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she’s so crazy about him.

But one day, she finds something. Something that tells a very different—and horrifying—story about the man she married.

What follows is one of the most twisted, shocking thrillers you’ll ever read.

You’ll have to grab a copy to find out why.
