Did I enjoy this book? I enjoyed this book. This is a collection of novellas that tell some of the stories that are hinted at in the main Throne of Glass series. I read this after I finished the entire series, and it was great to read some of the details of the back stories. I enjoyed the extra details and the glimpse into the past.

Would I recommend it? I would recommend this book. You could start the series by reading this before the official Book 1, or you could wait and read it partway through the series. I don’t think it would truly matter at what point you read it, but it’s definitely worth a read!

About the book – from Goodreads: Celaena Sardothien is Adarlan’s most feared assassin. As part of the Assassin’s Guild, her allegiance is to her master, Arobynn Hamel, yet Celaena listens to no one and trusts only her fellow killer-for-hire, Sam. In these action-packed novellas – together in one edition for the first time – Celaena embarks on five daring missions. They take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, where she fights to liberate slaves and seeks to avenge the tyrannous. But she is acting against Arobynn’s orders and could suffer an unimaginable punishment for such treachery. Will Celaena ever be truly free? Explore the dark underworld of this kick-ass heroine to find out.

I really wished I had read this one first. I enjoyed this one more than the first.

Great review 🙂 What is the first novel in the series and would you also recommend it?
