Did I enjoy this book? Yes, I did. This is book 2 in The Selection Series. Maxon has been whittling down the number of competitors to the final 8, called “The Elite.” All the things from the first book continue to happen in the second book. I don’t want to ruin the ending of the first book, nor the plot of the third book! All the things that frustrated me about America and Maxon in the first book continue to happen in the second book. The plot continues to be unique and well written. Overall, a very solid second book.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. This is a great series. Keep going!!

About the book – from Goodreads: The Selection began with thirty-five girls.

Now with the group narrowed down to the six Elite, the competition to win Prince Maxon’s heart is fiercer than ever—and America is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies. Is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale? Or with her first love, Aspen?

America is desperate for more time. But the rest of the Elite know exactly what they want—and America’s chance to choose is about to slip away.
