Book Blogger Hop – September 8 – 14, 2017

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question:

Have you ever bought a book because you liked its cover art? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

Many times. Well, I guess I should say I have picked up a book to check it out based solely on the cover.

What about you? Have you ever bought a book just because of the cover art?

The cover draws me in, but I do check out the book blurb.

If I base it on the cover, I am usually lucky that it turns out pretty covers mean pretty insides. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing your answer.

Usually a good cover does mean a good book, however, I have been burned by both the cover and the blurb. But the cover definitely draws you in!

      Thanks for visiting!

I pick up books (or click on them) all the time because of an enticing or appealing. I have a weak willpower, but lately I’ve been pretty picky and scrutinizing of the blurbs.

Oh yes, so many times! My current read was a cover request (NetGalley arc).
