Book Blogger Hop – July 7 – 13, 2017
About the Book Blogger Hop
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.
Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s question:
In one sentence, describe your passion for reading. (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
The best way I can describe my passion for reading is with the title of my blog: I read Every Free Chance I have.
I kind of want to do the buffalo sentence. Can I? Yeah, I totally can. Ready? Here we go!
Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
How would you describe your passion for reading in one sentence?

Where did the buffalo thing come from? Lately I haven’t been reading hardly at all. 🙁 I need to adopt your philosophy, Chrissy!

I have no idea how Melissa found the buffalo sentence. I had to look it up! Here’s the link to Grammar Girl’s breakdown: http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/buffalo-buffalo-buffalo.
As for me, I really do read every free chance I have. I try to fit in pages all the time. Sometimes it is hard, though.
Thanks for visiting!

Well, this made me pause. (Referring to the buffalo sentence.)
I, too, read every chance I can.

I was confused with the buffalo sentence, too. Don’t worry! LOL Here’s the link I shared with another commenter: http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/buffalo-buffalo-buffalo
I love that you read every chance, too!

Here is the best breakdown of the buffalo sentence that I have found. http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/buffalo-buffalo-buffalo
Honestly, I didn’t get it either when Melissa sent it to me! LOL But I think she refers to it because language is awesome and this sentence made up of only the word “buffalo” makes sense (once you look it up). LOL

Exactly, Chrissy! You can write an entire sentence using only one word. So. Freaking. Cool.

Melissa’s response cracks me up! And thanks for the link to the explanation, Chrissy. That’s too funny.
I like Chrissy’s response too. Sometimes I only am able to fit in five minutes of reading at a time, but it all comes back to reading every chance I get. 🙂
Thanks for sharing! I hope you both have a great weekend.

Sometimes 5 minutes is all I have, too! But I’ll take it! Thanks for visiting!

As to the buffalo thing…well that gives me the idea of making buffalo wings. Thanks! 😀

I love having a variety of books in a variety of modes…ebooks, paperback, cell phone, hardbook, etc. I have different books in different places so I can read every possible chance I get. 🙂

I’m the same way!! I also take a physical book and an ereader with me whenever I leave the house. You just never know when you can fit in a few pages!
Have a great weekend!
