Book Blogger Hop – June 23, 2017
About the Book Blogger Hop
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.
Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s question:
If you are at a really good point in a book and the phone rings or the door bell rings, do you stop reading or let the phone or door bell go unanswered? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)
As much I would love to ignore the outside world and just read, I would definitely answer a door bell and check caller ID and answer if I had to.
I loathe both talking on the phone AND answering the door . . . I’d likely ignore them even if I wasn’t reading.
What about you? Do you put down your book?

No way I’ll answer the phone or the door… apart from if I’m waiting for the post with new books for me 🙂

I always answer if it is a package . . . especially if I’m expecting new books!

I feel like Melissa does in terms of wanting to ignore both, regardless of what I am doing, but I’m more like Chrissy in that I feel like I at least need to see who is calling or at my door. Especially if my daughter and husband aren’t home as it could be one of them.

Although, they wouldn’t be at the door ringing the doorbell . . . I mean calling on the phone. Haha

Thanks for visiting!

I so wish I had a caller id so I can ignore calls that are not important, but alas I don’t and it will just bug me if I don’t now who it is at the door or on the phone. Have a great weekend and here is my blog hop answer

I would probably go and answer it, although it wouldn’t be with a great enthusiasm. Leaving it would make me feel guilty – you never know who might be on the other side! I also hate the idea that I might be missing out on something.

I would feel guilty, too!
