Book Blogger Hop – May 19 – 25, 2017
About the Book Blogger Hop
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.
Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s question:
What do you do with books you no longer want? Do you donate them? Do you take them to a half-price bookstore? Does a friend or family member benefit? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)
I keep most of the books that I have read or might want to read or that I have bought and will read soon. If there is a book that I absolutely won’t want to read or that I really didn’t like, then I usually donate it to my hometown library for their used book sale.
I don’t understand the question. Who has books they don’t want?

I like to give certain books to the library and then I donate a lot to the local hospital’s library. I think they let the patients keep the books.
Most of us have been indicating that we donate books. That is wonderful.

It looks like most of this week’s participants donate their unwanted books, either to a local library, a charity, or a used bookstore (or all three). I usually donate my unwanted books to my local Goodwill store.
You could also try holding your own blog giveaways to get rid of such books. I’ve done this myself.

Yup I do the same thing and donate books that I don’t want as well, but I mostly sell/trade them too half-price book stores too. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog hop.
