Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Did I enjoy this book? I read this to my daughter. She isn’t quite reading on her own yet, but she loved listening to it. She didn’t want me to stop reading!

The Fun Facts at the end were my favorite. They briefly explained the animals in the story. It introduces nocturnal animals to the reader. The chapters are short and easy to read for a beginner reader. The illustrations complement the story well. It kept my daughter’s attention. So, I call that a win. 😉

Would I recommend it? If you have beginner readers, yes, definitely pick up this book.

About the book – from Goodreads: Discover the friendship and humor of the Nocturnals Brigade! In The Slithery Shakedown, three unlikely friends—Tobin, a sweet pangolin, Bismark a loud-mouthed sugar glider and Dawn, a serious fox—stand up to a big bully snake. In the process, they find themselves some spec-tac-u-lar snakeskin capes!

Includes Bonus Animal Glossary
