My Favorite . . . Bookmark — September 13, 2017

My Favorite . . . is a weekly meme hosted by Maureen’s Books. In this meme we share every week something we love with each other. Because let’s face it, the world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive.

Each week I will post a new My Favorite . . . post about one subject and I’ll tell you all about it. And the best part? Everyone is welcome to join. The only thing you’ll have to do is sign up on the weekly post, link back to that post, and visit others.

This week’s Favorite is: Bookmark

I use the EFC bookmark all the time. It’s a favorite of mine. And if I start talking about books and the blog with someone, I can always give them my bookmark! Before that, I had a metal one with a C on it.

My son made me one as a preschool Mother’s Day gift. It’s a “poem” about all the things we do together. He especially likes it when I bring him ice water and a “midnight snack” and tell him what’s going to happen tomorrow. D’awwww. I love it even though his little sister chewed through it and folded it six thousand times. Still my favorite.

It’s a picture of Grumpy Cat “I had fun once. It was awful.”

Do you have a favorite bookmark?

  1. Those sound like amazing bookmarks. Love them!
My favorite ones are these Harry Potter ones I recently bought. But I’m afraid to use them, so I just look at them a lot. LOL!! I use this Metromap of the London underground. It’s small and it brings back some good memories.
Thanks for joining and sharing your favorites!

  2. Literary Feline says:

Aw, Melissa! Those types of bookmarks are priceless. I just love my daughter’s as well. I’ve never considered having bookmarks or even cards made for my blog. It’s something to think about. Love the Grumpy Cat one. LOL

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Those all sound like great bookmarks.

  4. I love that bookmark! It’s very special!

  5. Since I read almost only on my Kindle these days, I don’t use that many bookmarks. But even as a kid, I would buy the pretty bookmarks at the book fair at school and I would never use them.
