The Sunday Post – February 4, 2018

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What a start to February! The weather turned cold again and snowy. I didn’t mind; I like winter. I’ve been reading All We Knew by Jamie Beck for the Winter Reading Challenged hosted by BookSparks. On Wednesday, my neighborhood book club got together. We didn’t have a book that we read, so we just drank some wine, ate great snacks, and caught up with each other. We picked a book for our next book club night. They surprised me with a cake and a shirt that says, “I am silently correcting your grammar.” It was a fun evening. I’m finally starting to feel better, but my kids are getting sick now. One already has strep; it’s just a matter of time before the others get it, too. And we celebrated my husband’s birthday yesterday. How was your week?

Happy Birthday to your hubby! I guess you are either an English Major or Teacher – the shirt. Anyway. I have had a great week and start a new job on Thursday. Hopefully, I will get a chance to read some great books inbetween.

    Have a great week!

My school nurse sent me to be checked. I wish it were strep so I’d have meds. I feel miserable. I’m glad your book club night was so nice. I totally want to correct grammar…all the time. Happy birthday to your husband!! I hope the strep doesn’t spread and everyone in your house is well soon.

That happened to me at the beginning of December . . . I knew I was getting sick, but it wasn’t strep so I didn’t get meds. A couple of weeks later, I had strep. Sucked.

Thanks for visiting, Charlie! Have a great week!

Ugh strep seems to be going around so much! Hope everyone is better soon. It’s been snowing here too and everything is white again *sigh*

    Have a good week 🙂

Your last book club meeting sounds like all my meetings when I belonged to a club, and we did have assigned books lol. Also I want that shirt; so cool. My week/month is pretty much summed up in this post: https://jhohadli.wordpress.com/2018/02/04/talk-of-the-town

We do have a book picked for this month. We hadn’t met in a while, so it was a time to catch up and have some wine.

I hope you are having a good week!
