Book Blogger Hop – February 2 – 8, 2018

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question:

Do you prefer to blog about (a) specific book genre(s), or do you have an eclectic blog? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

Every Free Chance Books is an eclectic blog. When I started EFC, I didn’t want to lock myself into one genre because I read almost all genres.

  1. I’m kind of the same way. I have my preferred genres but I don’t want to limit my reading.

  2. I only read certain genres and only feature those genres on my blog.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. I agree with you! I think that being eclectic is the way to go, for me at least. I LOVE YA, but I also enjoy reading adult genres (excluding horror, thrillers, and erotica). So it’s GREAT that you’re eclectic, too!

Thanks for sharing! Have a GREAT weekend!! <3 🙂

  4. I’m the same way! I have a favorite genre (fantasy) but I try to have a variety of book reviews! 🙂 Awesome answer! Have a great weekend 🙂

  5. Greg Hill says:

I like following eclectic blogs as I have found so many good books I never would have otherwise tried!

  6. I wouldn’t want to be locked into one particular genre either.

  7. I also don’t like to lock myself into one genre. I prefer to read across multiple genres. Although I will admit that I do tend to read more of some genres than others. Variety is the spice of life!

  8. I felt the same way!
