About the Book Blogger Hop
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.
Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s question:
Have you ever asked co-workers to give you a book or B&N gift card if they got your name for a Secret Santa gift exchange? If so, did you get whet you asked for? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)
I have when we include a list of gift suggestions. And yes, I have received a book and/or a Barnes & Noble gift card. Always a great gift!

When I retired, I got a B&N gift card because they knew I loved to read. Had to spend extra money in order to get the two books I wanted. I still have them And that was three years ago.

You are SO lucky!!!! As you know from my post, in two of the Secret Santa gift exchanges I participated in, the people who got my name KNEW that I DESPERATELY wanted a book, and gave me something else THEY thought would be “more appropriate”. GRRRRR!!!
I just found out that the blog The Broke and the Bookish does a Secret Santa exchange every year. Of course, the participants ONLY get books!! So I will DEFINITELY join in next year!! Lol.

The “more appropriate” thing would make me very upset!!!! If you want a book, you should get a book!!!
