My Favorite . . . Book I Wish They Made a Movie Of — October 18, 2017

My Favorite . . . is a weekly meme hosted by Maureen’s Books. In this meme we share every week something we love with each other. Because let’s face it, the world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive.

Each week I will post a new My Favorite . . . post about one subject and I’ll tell you all about it. And the best part? Everyone is welcome to join. The only thing you’ll have to do is sign up on the weekly post, link back to that post, and visit others.

This week’s Favorite is: Book I Wish They Made a Movie Of

I would have said Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein, but it has been made into a TV movie. I haven’t watched it yet, but I can’t wait to see it. I would also like to see the Wendy Darling series by Colleen Oakes made into a movie. But I would really love to see The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern as a movie. It is one of my favorite books.

I just finished a fantastic novel, Gilded Cage by Vic James. I know dystopian novels are trendy right now, but this one was just amazing. I’d love to see it on screen.

Wings of a Dove by Elaine Barbieri

What book do you wish they would make a movie of?

I haven’t read the Wendy Darling series (yet), but I do want to. I know they’d be great books to make into a movie. I really want to see Chris Colfer’s The Land of Stories series made into a series of movies. I read the first and fell in love! I need to buy the 3rd and 4th (and any more) books so I can keep reading the series. Since only the second book was published at the time I read, I bought it and cut myself off there while waiting for the rest.

I wish they made a movie of Rachel Hauck’s How to Catch a Prince, and really would love movies of all her books. I also wished there was a TV series of The Christiansen family series by Susan May Warren. Her characters in that series often appear in her other series, so there would be no end to the TV series.

That would be a good movie. I like Rachel Hauck’s books. I don’t know the other series. I’ll have to check it out.

I would love to see Robyn Carr’s Virgin River become a movie.. She has so many wonderful characters that would make great watching. Of course it would make a great series on TV.

I haven’t read any of these books. But I did hear a lot of great things about the Wendy Darling series, and Gilded Cage. There definitely are still so many great books I need to read, and watch as a movie! LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and joining!

Wendy Darling was fabulous. I want to read Gilded Cage. And I agree . . . so many great books out there I need/want/have to read!

All of these would make great movies, I think! I would love to see the Night Circus made into a film especially. But I can see them getting it wrong in so many ways. 🙁 It’s such a lovely book!
