Disclosure: I did some editing work on this title. After that work was completed, I was asked by the author to review the book. I received a copy of this book for review purposes. Although I was compensated for the editing work, it in no way affected the outcome of my review. My review is my honest opinion of the book.

Did I enjoy this book:
Another great read from Melanie Hatfield.

We get reacquainted with Tina the Terrible in Blades of Blood. I love Tina. She is a wonderful character. She loves her parents and her kingdom. Although she is a most-feared assassin, she does make some dumb mistakes. Tina shows her age and immaturity every now and then, which isn’t a bad thing but does make you shake your head.

Blades of Blood is action-packed and will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

About the book – from Goodreads:
How far would you go to protect the ones you love?

Princess Azedeh, heir to the throne of Turrack, slays the evil in her kingdom under the guise of Tina the Terrible, the most feared assassin in the land. When a creature of dark magic terrorizes her home, she must journey to a dangerous land to stop it at the source. As she encounters more magical beings on her quest, she must determine whom she can trust—and a wrong decision will cost the princess her life.

Blades of Blood is the first book in The Chronicles of Turrack series.
