Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Did I enjoy this book:
I did. It was cute, I liked the characters, I read every free chance I had.

My one wish is that I would have had the chance to read books 3 and 4 (When I’m With You and Suddenly You) before Only With You. I have a feeling I missed quite a bit. But, if I hadn’t known this was a series, I would have been fine just reading this one. But because I read the first two books, I wish I had read books 3 and 4 before this one. Totally my fault.

Now, as for Only With You, I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read Emma by Jane Austen yet. (I know, I know. I should be ashamed of myself.) I have read a few retellings of Emma and I don’t know that I will like Emma. In the retellings, she is rather bossy, nosy, and a know-it-all. But she has a heart of gold. She truly wants to help others. She just goes about it the wrong way sometimes.

In Only With You, Emma Greene takes the role of matchmaker/happiness maker seriously. She uses 911 texts to get her friends to come to her. She is sweet, kind, but pushy and a bit clueless. Even if your heart is in the right place, you need to open your eyes and pay attention.

This is a great series, and I can’t wait to dive into books 3, 4, and 6!

Would I recommend it: If you like Jane Austen and Jane Austen retellings, check out this series. Here are my reviews for books 1 and 2 of the series: Fall For You and So Into You.

About the book:
Dive into the fabulous, fun lives of six Academy girls as their friendships are tested, torn and ultimately triumph…

Emma has it all – looks, money, and luck. It’s not like she keeps it all to herself – she’s totally committed to helping those less fortunate. AKA, everyone. She invites her heartbroken friend to help with a weekend charity event with an eye to matchmake, but when that friend turns her eye toward the guy Emma wants for herself, how will she choose between friendship and her own feelings?

* * *

The last thing that the girls at the elite Jane Austen Academy need is hot guys to flirt with. But over the summer the school has been sold, and like it or not, the guys are coming. And it’s about to turn the Academy—and the lives of its students—totally upside down…

The Jane Austen Academy series are modern retellings of Jane Austen classics set at a beachside California boarding school.

About the author: Cecilia Gray lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where she reads, writes and breaks for food. She also pens her biographies in the third person. Like this. As if to trick you into thinking someone else wrote it because she is important. Alas, this is not the case.

She’s rather enamored of being contacted by readers and hopes you’ll oblige.

    This sounds like a cute book to read. I am an avid reader and would love to have the chance to win this great giveaway. Romance of any kind is my favorite genre but I also love books so anything I can read is fantastic.
